McCall Design Group is dedicated to promoting environmental responsibility by greening our office, our projects, our clients, our community, and ourselves. We are greening our office by reducing material consumption, increasing re-use and recycling, and reducing our dependence on fossil fuels, most notable by purchasing renewable wind power to offset our energy use. We are greening our projects by offering sustainable solutions to design and construction problems. We are moving towards compliance with LEED criteria for many of our retail projects and we encourage our clients to support this interest. We are greening our clients by educating them about sustainable building practices and helping them to become environmental stewards beyond the design and construction realm. We are greening our community by promoting environmental efforts locally, regionally, and nationally through financial support and volunteer time commitment. We are currently focusing our efforts in support of the U.S. Green Building Council and are actively involved in the Northern California Chapter. We are also an industry pioneer assisting in the development of the LEED for Retail guidelines. We are greening ourselves by educating ourselves and reducing environmental impacts in our personal lives. Our environmental program is guided by our in-house Sustainable Design Coordinators and LEED Accredited Professionals, Kathryn Cogan and Homer Perez.
