The Willie Mays Museum plans to be appropriately situated at Pier 24 (24 was his number), bordered by the ferry building and Pac Bell Park, home of the San Francisco Giants. The museum would play a significant part in the rejuvenation of the downtown waterfront and would contribute to its cultural activity.
